Is the Ibis DV9 capable enough of a cross country bike for me?

Based on what we've seen our Flagstaff Bicycle Revolution employees do on their Ibis DV9s, absolutely. If you want the purity and simplicity of a hardtail with the ability to run frame bags or two bottle cages, the DV9 may be the hardtail for you.

Ibis Cycles carbon layout on the DV9 is stiff in the right spots, and forgiving in the right spots. For us, its a reminder that not all hardtails are created equal. While all hardtails use 0mm of rear travel, some simply are more enjoyable to ride than others due to the way the frames, and build kit as a whole interact with the terrain you choose to ride.
